Charges Pending Against Male Suspect after Threats, Fight

DUBOIS – Charges are currently pending against one male suspect who allegedly threatened to shoot someone during a fight and started another with DuBois City police when they attempted to apprehend him.

According to the report, police overheard screaming and yelling at approximately 1:01 a.m. Sunday while on patrol in the 300 block of West DuBois Avenue. After investigating further, police observed numerous people who were running.

Police made contact with someone who advised them of a fight. During the fight, one male allegedly threatened to retrieve his gun and shoot someone.

At some point, police made contact with this male suspect. While attempting to apprehend him, the suspect allegedly started fighting with police.

Police were able to take the male suspect into custody. He was placed in the Clearfield County Jail.
