Sudbury, MA, United States (AHN) – The famed Sudbury, Mass. house once owned by the iconic slugger Babe Ruth, is on the market for $1.65 million.

The third floor houses a room devoted to the storied baseball player complete with pictures and baseball memorabilia.

According to the listing agent at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the current owners have taken great care in updating the five bedroom, three and a half bathroom home, making sure to keep many of the additions left behind by The Babe, who wooed fans while playing for both the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees.

The burn marks in the front room of the house where Ruth used to flick his ashes ares till visible.

The property rests on two acres and includes a large barn and garage.

Ruth lived in Sudbury when he played for the Boston Red Sox. He was sold to the Yankees in 1919, but the Bambino liked Sudbury so much he bought the Dutton Road house in 1922, selling it in 1926.
