Victoria Beckham designs Range Rover for husband David Beckham

London, England, United Kingdom (AHN) – Pop singer turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham had a hand in creating a new special edition of Range Rover’s off-road vehicle, the Evoque.

Beckham said she did a great deal of research in the planning, not simply with cars, but she also studied past and present boats, planes, movie stars and various locations.

But her biggest influence and inspiration was keeping soccer-star hubby David Beckham in mind.

Featured in the special edition Evoque is hand-finished matt paint–a first for a Land Rover-type vehicle–rose gold accents on the grille, and black glossy forged alloy wheels.

The interior of the four-seat coupe boasts vintage-inspired leather seats, rose gold plated accents and black lacquer, textured aluminum and mohair trimmings.

The vehicle has tailored accessories such as a four-piece leather luggage set and a hand-stitched leather wallet for the owner’s manual signed by Victoria.

The limited edition luxury Evoque retails for $129,000, double the price of a regular model.

Don’t dilly-dally if you are clamoring for one. Only 200 will roll off the assembly line, the first of which will be offered in China as early as October.
