Flyers goalie Bryzgalov giving Jersey ‘Devil’ of time in game 2

Philadelphia, PA, United States (AHN Sports) – Matt Read’s early goal is the difference so far in game two of the Eastern Conference Semifinal series between the Flyers and the Devils.

Philadelphia leads New Jersey 1-0 at the end of the second period.

The plucky Read received a perfect pass from Braydon Schenn and he pumped the puck past Martin Brodeur at 2:35 of the first.

But the Devils have had many more scoring chances than the Flyers. Philadelphia has just 11 shots, two in the second, while New Jersey has been testing Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov, especially during the second period.

Bryzgalov has made 25 saves, and many of the stops have been sensational. The Devils had a number of great chances on three power plays but Bryzgalov has been up to the task.
