William M. Wascovich, 74 of DuBois died Saturday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born Oct. 13, 1937 in Soldier, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Pruzinsky) Wascovich.
He retired from Rockwell International Manufacturing after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where he was the church organist for 40 years.
On Sept. 2, 1967, he married Mary A. (Kazyak) Wascovich. She survives.
Mr. Wascovich is survived by his children, Mary Lewandowski and her husband, Matt of Manassas, VA; Catherine Wascovich of Pittsburgh; Clare Daugherty and her husband, Ian of Lilly; John Wascovich and his fiancé, Jennifer Vieczorek of Factoryville; Daniel Wascovich and his wife, Carisa of Harrisburg; Madonna Schwentner and her husband, John and Laura Krach, all of DuBois; and Michael Wascovich and his partner, Glenn Crook of York; a sister, Mildred Radzavich of DuBois; a brother, Lawrence Wascovich of Chesterland, OH and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John and Eugene Wascovich.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on 7:30 p.m. Monday from the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
