Police Report: Curwensville Borough

  • Police received a report on Wednesday of a person knocking on a door at the Curwensville Commons.
  • Between Sunday and Tuesday, someone drove on the soccer field at Curwensville High School and onto the baseball field at Irvin Park.
  • A hit-and-run was reported. Sometime on Tuesday a 2003 Subaru parked on Locust Street was struck. The offending driver then fled the scene.
  • An incident of identity theft was reported. Someone used the victim’s information to file a tax return.
  • Police reported ongoing acts of criminal mischief at Irvin Park. In the last few weeks, several tables have been damaged, light receptacle covers broken and someone defecated on several tables. Police stated these actions will not be tolerated and officers are watching the area. Anyone apprehended will be arrested and responsible for cleaning costs.
  • Police assisted a driver with a vehicle lock-out.
