Avondale, LA, United States (AHN Sports) – Ken Duke is a poster journeyman on the PGA Tour.

He plays solid golf at times and he did that on Thursday at the TPC Louisiana. Duke went bogey-free and shot a seven-under par 65 that earned him a share of the lead at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Duke is still in search of his first PGA Tour victory.

Tringale had eight birdies and a single bogey on his round.

Steve Stricker, one of the biggest names in the field, was a shot back after carding a 66. He was tied with three other players, including Ernie Els, who came up with his best round of the season.

Daniel Chopra and Chris Stroud joined the group at six-under par.

Bubba Watson, making his first start since winning the Masters last month, is the defending champion and shot a one-under par 71.

Luke Donald struggled and finished with a 73.
