Maryland Man Faces Charges for End Zone Night Club Incident

HUSTON TOWNSHIP – A 21-year-old Germantown, MD man faces charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, DUI and other related charges after an incident at 2:25 a.m. Friday at the End Zone Night Club, the Philipsburg-based state police reported.

According to the report, the man allegedly entered a parked taxi cab and attempted to drive away from the club. He had been asked to leave the club, and shortly after being escorted out, he entered the vacant taxi cab.

Club employees and the cab driver stopped the man, before he drove away. He was removed from the vehicle and detained until police arrived. Police determined the man had a blood alcohol content level of .266 percent.

Police were assisted by the Patton Township Police. Charges have been filed through the district court in Philipsburg.  The incident remains under investigation at this time.
