Someone reportedly broke into a Jeep, which was parked Oct. 22 in the 300 block of West DuBois Avenue and removed tools.
A 25-year-old Falls Creek man was arrested Oct. 22 in the first block of East Garfield Avenue for attempting to break into vehicles. A witness contact police who were able to apprehend the suspect. He was placed in jail.
An alarm was reported Oct. 23 at Fayette Resources on Beaver Drive when an employee triggered it by accident.
An alarm sounded Oct. 23 at the business of Joseph Lazore LLC on South Main Street. The building was found to be secure.
A 24-year-old DuBois woman was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence Oct. 24 after her vehicle was observed swerving on DuBois Street. Charges are currently pending at this time. A passenger, a 32-year-old DuBois man, was on probation in Clearfield County. He had been consuming alcohol. Police contacted Clearfield County Probation, where the man was advised to report the next morning.
Someone entered an unlocked vehicle Oct. 24, while it was parked in the first block of East Sheridan Avenue. Change was removed from the vehicle.
On Oct. 24, someone smashed the window of a vehicle that was parked in the 200 block of West Garfield Avenue. Money was removed from inside the vehicle.
Someone gained entry into the St. Michaels Church through a window and removed mail, containing religious offerings Oct. 24. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
A 17-year-old DuBois girl and a 14-year-old DuBois girl were involved in a physical altercation Oct. 24 in the 200 block of McCloyd Terrace. Neither girl’s parents wanted to file charges.
An alarm was reported Oct. 25 at the Medicine Shoppe on West Park Avenue. The building was found to be secure.

On Oct. 25, a man who was described in his 20’s with blonde hair and who wore a black sweat shirt and pants exposed his genitals to three juvenile females in the 200 block of McCloyd Terrace. He was also seen with a black bicycle. Police have a suspect at this time.
A residential alarm was reported Oct. 25 in the 500 block of North Fourth Street. Police found the building to be secure.

On Wednesday, an unknown man reportedly stole a woman’s purse, while she was at the Laundromat located on West Long Avenue.
An alarm was reported Wednesday at the Medicine Shoppe on West Park Avenue. Police found the building to be secure.
On Wednesday, police reported that a man was breaking into vehicles on South Church Street. They located the man in the 100 block of South Highland Street at which time he fled on foot. Police chased the suspect for some time but lost him in a wooded area. Most of the stolen items were recovered when the suspect dropped his backpack, containing the items.
Someone entered a residence Wednesday in the 100 block of East DuBois Avenue and removed two packages on a counter inside.
A two-vehicle accident occurred Wednesday in the 400 block of Maple Avenue. No injuries were reported. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
A purse was removed from an unlocked vehicle Wednesday, while it was parked behind the Laundromat on West Long Avenue.
