Copper and Scrap Metal Stolen from Garage in Woodland

WOODLAND – Police are investigating the theft of copper and scrap metal from a pole garage on Bear Hill Road in Woodland.

According to the state police in Clearfield, the theft occurred between July 30 and Sept. 27. Someone entered a front entrance door by pusing it open. Police said about $500 in metal was taken. In the act of committing the crime, the unknown person damaged a garage door, numerous electric wires and boxes and several ceiling tiles. Damage is estimated at around $2,000.
