Tyrone Tennis Team Sweeps Lady Bisons

TYRONE — After a two-match streak of facing non-league opponenets, the Clearfield girl’s tennis team returned to Mountain League action on Thursday when they traveled to Tyrone. The results was a Tyrone sweep 7-0 to drop the Lady Bisosns to 0-6 on the year.

1. Yesh Patel lost to Emily Tompkins in traight sets 0-6, 0-6.
2. Elizabeth Lanager lost to Ketura Weaver in straight sets 0-6, 0-6.
3. Jen Grenus lost to Anastasia Hollen in straight sets 1-6, 0-6.
4. Rachael Johnson lost to Amber Van Allman in straight sets 0-6, 2-6.
5. Emily Ramsey lost to Olivia Gailey in straight sets 0-6, 1-6.

1. Yesh Patel and Liz Lanager lost to Emily Brokenshire in a proset match 0-8.
2. Rayanna Kavelak and Abbi Welker lost to Kaylee Wilt and Maria Aquadro in a proset match 0-8.

Clearfield will be in action again Monday September 19 when they face St. Marys.
