Ruth “Dolly” L. Judice, age 74, of Euclid Avenue in DuBois, PA died May 27, 2011 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian.
She was born on April 8, 1937 in Renovo, PA. She was the daughter of the late Raymond & Blanche (Pelkey) Gregory.
On June 4, 1988, she married Leno Judice. He survives.
She worked for Brockway Glass for 24 years, and she was a Mary Kay Cosmetic consultant since 1990. She also worked for Ross Dress for Less.
She was a graduate of Renovo High School.
She attended St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in DuBois, PA. She was a member of Sabula Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and canning. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: (Sharon Brumbaugh and her husband, Dennis of Luthersburg, PA, , and Jason Dixon and his wife Lisa of Luthersburg, PA) and her step children ( David Judice of State College, PA, Lisa McCorkle and her husband John of Falls Creek, PA, Angela Chaisson and her husband Robert of Ijamsville, MD and Betsy Pearce and her husband Kenneth of Brockport, PA,) 3 sisters, (Ann Cramer and her husband Curt of Sebring, OH, and Eileen Causman and her husband Jay of Clearwater FL, and Sylvia Thompson and her husband Rich of Wattsburg, PA) and a brother, (Grant Gregory and his wife Jean of Harborcreek, PA) and 22 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 7 brothers, Max, Norman, Russell, Arthur, Eugene, Raymond and Larry Gregory, two sisters, Edith Casper and Isabell Arndt; her first husband, James Dixon; a son Edward Dixon; and a step son John Judice.
Visitation will be held on May 31 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home in DuBois.
A scriptural wake service will be held on Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m. from the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on June 1 at 10 a.m. from the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in DuBois with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant. Pastor Rick Howe will assist in the services.
Burial will follow in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
