Atlanta, GA, United States (AHN Sports) – Derek Lowe’s attorney Cory Yager confirmed DUI and reckless driving charges against his client have been dismissed.

According to a report on MLB.com, Yager said the charges were dropped after the prosecution viewed video of the April 28 arrest and found a lack of evidence.

Lowe pleaded no contest to making an improper lane change as a result of making an improper signal.

Lowe was stopped on Peachtree Road in Buckhead around 10 p.m. ET. on April 28.

The arresting officer reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol.

The 37-year-old pitcher refused to take a breathalyzer test after undergoing a field sobriety test.
