Michael Lyle Larson, 46, of Curwensville, died after a lengthy illness Thursday at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born June 26, 1964 in Clearfield, he was the son of Lyle and Patricia (Mitchell) Larson. He loved music, animals and all Pittsburgh’s sports teams, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also was a big fan of the New York Yankees and performed in various rock bands in the Curwensville area. He was a 1982 graduate of the Curwensville Area High School and attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania from 1988 through 1990.Â
Mr. Larson was survived by his parents; his aunts and uncles, Nancy Dallen; Gloria Nixon and husband, Bill; and Joseph Zemba and wife, Doris, all of Curwensville; Donna Hahn of Florida and Debra Fisher and her husband, Ken of Commodore as well as numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leona (Dilts) Davidson and Harry Mitchell and paternal grandparents, Margaret Zemba and Francis Larson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Curwensville Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Gary Zarr officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville.
