Clearfield Girl’s Tennis Team Loses to Central 5-2

CENTRAL — The Clearfield’s girl’s tennis team dropped to 1-10 on the season after a 5-2 loss to Central on Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Bison wins came at the number one singles spot and the number one doubles spot.
Singles Results:
Suzie Colesar won against Alexis Warrell 6-3 and 6-1, Sierra Grice lost 0-6 and 2-6 to Heather Park, Hillary Buck lost 6-4, 5-7 and 4-6 to Becky Stern, Jessica Roussey lost 1-6 and 2-6 to Krista Jacobs, and Dianna Maney lost 0-6 and 0-6 to Hanna Stern.
Doubles Results:
Colesar/Grice won 8-1 against Katelyn Baur/Paige Mock
Roussey/Buck lost 2-8 to Kayla Shriver and Alexa Hamilton
Third and fourth matches were forfeited.
Clearfield’s next match is against Central Mountain on Monday.
