Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – Federal, state, and local authorities early Wednesday morning were searching for an individual who left a threatening message on an airplane bathroom mirror claiming there was a bomb on board.

The message was found on a Thai Airways flight headed to Los Angeles from Bangkok.

Flight 794 landed safely at Los Angeles International Airport just before 12 a.m. Wednesday (9 p.m. Tuesday Pacific Time), reports stated. The aircraft was taken to an isolated location where police and officials from the Transportation Security Administration conducted a safety search.

Authorities found no evidence of a bomb or a legitimate threat, reported FBI officials.

Passengers and crew members were interviewed and luggage was rescreened.
