Nashville, TN, United States (AHN) – Country musician Steve Richard has officially made the final, Top 5 nominee list for the 2010 Inspirational Country Music Awards.

Richard, a Force MP Entertainment artist, is also ICM’s current “New Artist of the Year.” Now, he has received two 2010 ICM nominations for Entertainer and Christian Country Song for “Eighty Acre Church.”

The 2010 ICM Awards will be held at the Trinity Music City USA Auditorium in Hendersonville, TN on October 14 at 7 pm.

“The positive response we’re getting is exciting and gratifying,” he says about his music on his website. “I realized a long time ago that the most important thing a songwriter or singer can do is reach people. I’m very grateful to be connecting with so many people, and I’m excited to be carrying that forward.”

Richard is starting to climb the charts with “Eighty Acre Church” and is continuing to tour the country to promote his upcoming album, “Up To Somethin.’” The new album is scheduled for digital release on October 5.
