Kyron Horman’s Memorial Literally Moved From School, Wall of Hope Now At Nearby Fire House
Portland, OR, United States (AHN) – Dozens of volunteers helped move Kyron Horman’s wall of hope from the school the missing boy attended to a nearby fire station.
The move occurred on Sunday and began with more than 75 people dismantling the memorial at Skyline School. The memorial was then walked a short distance to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.
The memorial was created as a way to honor Jyron Hornam’s family. The 7-year-old second grader went missing on June 4th.
School officials didn’t want the tribute which was attached to a chain link fence and decorated with notes, ribbons, balloons and cars to be a distratction when classed commence on Sept. 7. Additionally officials feared it would draw unwanted attention and strangers too close to the school.
In order to keep the tribute intact the entire portion of the fence was removed.
Kyron’s mother, Desiree Young thanked the public’s help in the move and asked for the help in the transition to ensure students well-being. She called the replacement of the Wall of Hope, a positive moment despite the time since her son’s disappearance being a difficult time.
Not only should the youngster be getting ready for a new school year but his birthday is also coming up she said.

With all due respect to the writer…this child has captured the hearts of the entire nation…the least you could do is spell his name correctly throughout the article and make sure it’s proofread prior to posting….his name is KYRON!!!!!! Please correct it in paragraph three…the lack of attention to detail is disrespectful to the family and those following the case and praying for a miracle!
