Seaside Heights, NJ, United States (AHN) – Season 2 of MTV’s hit reality show “Jersey Shore,” just debuted last week with one of it’s highest ratings to date, and already the music video network is taping the crazy shenanigans and late night antics of the group’s third season.
Life & Style magazine reports the country’s most famous guidos and guidettes were back in their favorite Seaside hotspot, Karma nightclub, after having filmed their second season in Miami Beach. But, not everyone on the scene is permitted to mingle with the cast, as magazine sources have witnessed. The show’s producers were seen drawing black dots on the hands of girls deemed worthy enough to talk to the cast.
The magazine further reports that some fans were so desperate to get on the show, they started fights in order to gain some camera time. “The cast has to be more careful because everyone knows them now,” says one source. “Some of the guys, like the Situation will have four to six security guys with them to stop people from approaching.”
For now, it looks like Snooki and company can count on their hit show to keep them rich and employed. Season 2 of the “Jersey Shore” pulled in with 5.3 million viewers last week.
