Police report an incident of access device fraud and theft by unlawful taking that occurred on July 4 between 10:30 p.m. and 1 a.m. in Sandy Ridge. In the commission of the crime a suspect stole the victim’s credit card while visiting her residence and then made charges using the victim’s credit card. The investigation is continuing.Â
Police reported an incident of criminal mischief sometime Monday or Tuesday in Philipsburg Borough and the South Philipsburg village areas. A person(s) spray painted vulgar and profane words and symbols on the exterior walls of both the New Life and Christian Missionary Alliance Churches as well as on the pavilion and benches at the Cold Stream Dam Park. Police reported an incident of access device fraud/theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. June 14 and 12 a.m. June 29 in Rush Township, Centre County. Someone allegedly removed an undisclosed amount of money and obtained a 36-year-old Sandy Ridge woman’s credit card information while staying as a guest at her residence. The person then subsequently made charges with the victim’s credit card in the amount of several hundred dollars. The investigation is ongoing.
