RIDGWAY – The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop C, Ridgway, continues its investigation into a robbery that occurred at the Bennetts Valley Pharmacy on April 25 in Jay Township, Elk County.
In a press release, the PA Crime Stoppers said an unknown suspect entered the pharmacy through the front door at 8:43 p.m. on the date in question. They said he was reportedly brandishing a folding knife, which was dull gray in color.
They said he reportedly jumped over the front counter and grabbed the cashier. They said he then demanded money from the cash register. They said he also removed additional currency from under the counter before fleeing the scene.
PA Crime Stoppers describe the male suspect as wearing light-colored blue jeans with a dark blood hooded sweatshirt. They said he was also wearing a black ski mask and brown-colored boots, according to the press release.
