Akon Collaborating With Lady Gaga Again, Says Her New Material Is "Crazy"

Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – Akon helped introduce the world to Lady Gaga, signing her to his Kon Live label and co-writing her first smash, “Just Dance.” Now Lady Gaga has let Akon listen to some of her new tracks, which he describes as “crazy.”

Gaga, who’s working on the follow-up to “The Fame Monster” for release as early as this year, has written most of the new album while on tour. While on the road for her “Monster Ball” tour, she also travels with a mini recording studio.

“She records while she’s on the road,” Akon told Vibe magazine. “I’m flying out to Europe to work on some new records with her.”

“GaGa’s just like me,” he continued. “She has a tour bus with a studio in it. Some of the songs I’ve heard are going to be crazy. She’s getting bigger and better.”

While fans await the latest new music from Lady Gaga, they can catch her on her “Monster Ball” tour, which is set to hit Europe next month before returning to North America for a second leg.

She’s also not done releasing music from her latest release, “The Fame Monster.” Her new single, “Alejandro,” just hit radio and a new music video is expected soon.
