Els Leads Arnold Palmer Invitational By One Shot Heading Into Final Round

<p>Orlando, FL, United States (AHN) – South African Ernie "The Big Easy "Els fired a 3-under 69 Saturday to take a one-shot advantage heading into the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Florida.</p>
<p>
Els, three-time Grand Slam titlist, scored a 10-under 206 after three rounds to remain at the top of the leaderboard.</p>
<p>
Els, the reigning WGC-CA Championship winner, is in good position to win consecutive PGA Tour events for the first time in seven years.</p>
<p>
American Ben Cutis looks once again to overtake Els in the final round, after he failed to capitalize on a strong third-round start.<br />
<br />
Curtis started the third-round flawlessly, before committing bogeys on the par-five 16th and par-three 17th.</p>
<p>
He finished the third round at nine-under 207, one stroke behind Els.</p>
<p>
American Chris Couch also played well in the round, carding a 3-under 69.</p>
<p>
Italian Edoardo Molinari and American Kevin Na were tied in fourth place, scoring a 6-under 210.</p>
<p>
American Jim Furyk recorded the best score in the round, firing a 3-under 66.</p>
<p>
The reigning Transitions Championship titlist is currently tied for sixth place with a 5-under 211.<br />
