Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN) – Conan O’Brien’s rumored transfer to Fox isn’t going to happen any time soon. Fox affiliates chairman Brian Brady says there is no "definitive" plan for a late-night show with the ousted "Tonight Show" comedian.

It has been reported that O’Brien and the network are already in the advanced talks phase regarding a late-night program to rival NBC’s "Tonight Show."

But Brady told Broadcasting & Cable, "To the best of my knowledge, no pressure has been asserted on any Fox affiliates [by the network]. There’s nothing definitive on Conan right now. If Fox decides to do something, they’ll weigh in with [the board]."

"Conan doesn’t seem to be on the front burner. If it was, I’d be hearing about it."

A general manager at another Fox affiliate added that they haven’t heard any plans about the Coco invasion from the network yet.

Meanwhile, O’Brien will be embarking on a comedy tour titled "The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour," a reference to his exit deal with NBC which forbids him to appear on TV until September. The 30-city tour will begin on April 12.
