New York City, NY, United States (AHN) – In the ongoing story involving a recent Oscar winner’s marital woes, one person offers some third-party perspective.

Lindsay Sinai, the roommate and best friend of Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, granted an interview to CBS interview program “Inside Edition” about McGee’s connections with Jesse James, husband of “The Blind Side” star Sandra Bullock. The interview, broadcast March 23, revealed Sinai’s thoughts about her tattoo artist friend and what effect she may have had on the Bullock/James marriage.

During the interview, Sinai said McGee claimed to believe that James and Bullock were separated but came to think differently watching the husband and wife during the 82nd annual Academy Awards telecast, particularly during Bullock’s acceptance of the Best Actress honor.

“When she was watching the Oscars, she was really upset,” Sinai said of her friend. “He seemed so sincere in the audience, teary-eyed for his wife. Meanwhile, he's cheating on her with probably more than one person. She felt guilty at that point. She said she wished Sandy knew, that she deserved better.”

Sinai debunked McGee’s assertion that she was raised by Amish parents, claiming she was joking.

“She is a very humorous person, she jokes a lot,” Sinai said.

Sinai also mentioned McGee’s behavior around James, specifically an instance when he was preparing to travel.

“He was going away and said he was going to be out of town for awhile,” Sinai said. “She said, ‘Bring me something back.’ He brought her back a t-shirt. She was a little upset about it, ended up throwing it away. She was like, ‘I can't believe this is what he got me.’”
