Michigan Football To Host Notre Dame At First Night Game In 2011

Ann Arbor, MI, United States (AHN) – The storied rivalry between Michigan and Notre Dame took another turn Thursday when it was announced the two will meet for the Fighting Irish’s first-ever prime time football game in 2011.

Michigan AD David Brandon announced the historic night game schedule, slated on September 10, 2011 at Michigan Stadium.

The Wolverines, owners of a 22-11 all-time mark in prime time contests, have lost all three night encounters with the Fighting Irish, all held at Notre Dame Stadium.

Michigan leads the all-time series with Notre Dame, 21-15-1.

The Wolverines are 11-7 at the Big House against the Fighting Irish.
