Mexican Tour Bus Crash South Of San Antonio, Texas Kills Two, Injures 18

Campbellton, TX, United States (AHN) – A tour bus crash on a highway in southern Texas left two dead and 18 people injured on Tuesday.

The accident happened about 50 miles south San Antonio and emergency personnel transported most of the injured to San Antonio’s Brooke Army Medical Center and University Hospital.

Officials said that a Mexican tour bus carrying at least 35 people overturned in the southbound lanes of Interstate 37 near the Campbellton exit at about 10 a.m. and came to a rest on its side on the grassy median.

The Americanos tour bus was headed from San Antonio to Matamoros, Mexico.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
