Nude Burglar Just Needed Place To Sleep

Lake City, FL, United States (AHN) – Authorities in Columbia County, Florida, said a nude man broke into a home, took a shower, watched television and helped himself to a meal before police arrested him.

Shane Tyler Tinsman, 25, was arrested by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office on charges of burglary of a dwelling, reports stated.

The owner of the house came home last week and noticed lights on in the home. The owner called the police and waited for them to arrive.

One deputy saw a naked man walking through the house. Authorities asked the man to come outside with his hands on his head. When he refused, deputies entered the house and found Tinsman on the bedroom floor, reports stated.

Tinsman confessed to breaking into the home, but only because he was hungry and needed a place to stay, according to reports.

The owner did not notice any items missing from the home.

Tinsman is being held on $2,000 bond.
