Milwaukee, WI, United States (AHN) – After winning four games in a row, the Boston Celtics fell to the Milwaukee Bucks on the road 86-84 Tuesday night.

The Celtics went into the fourth carrying a 68-64 lead. Midway through the quarter, the Bucks’ Brandon Jennings went up for a layup and  took a hard foul from Boston’s Glen Davis.

After the foul, Jennings stood screaming over Davis, who had been knocked to the floor from the contact. The two players had to be separated and a double-technical foul was called, as well as a personal foul on Davis.

This turn of events gave the Bucks a spark as they went on an 18-9 run. Being down 86-79, Boston pulled within two but were unable to send the game into overtime.

Milwaukee (34-29) was led  by Andrew Bogut, who had 25 points to go along with 17 rebounds.

Carlos Delfino added 19 points and eight rebounds. Jennings had 13 points. The Bucks relied heavily on their starters as their bench only accounted for 11 points.

The Celtics (40-22) were led by Rajon Rondo with 20 points. Kevin Garnett had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Paul Pierce added 12.

Milwaukee has won 10 of their last 11 games, including a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The look to keep their winning ways going against Utah at home Thursday.

Boston looks to rebound as the host Memphis on Wednesday.
