Jefferson, GA, United States (AHN) – Former NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Kurt Busch apparently can’t get enough racing this week.

After winning two days ago at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Busch stopped by Gresham Motorsports Park Tuesday to test his No. 2 Penske Racing Dodge.

“This is a great place to test,” said Busch. “The track is really repeatable. We’re using a Martinsville tire today, so it’s not exactly the right tire for this place, but we’re still getting a lot of good data. The track is new and it’s nice and smooth. It has a lot of grip. If you can run the bottom, it’s pretty fast. It’s going to be really fast in a year or two when it wears out a little.”

Busch, along with his Penske Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series teammate Justin Algaier, spent the day testing at Gresham before he treks south to Gainesville, Fla., to compete in the NHRA Gatornationals this weekend.

Busch also took time out to film a segment for Showtime TV’s Inside NASCAR as well.

This weekend he’ll debut his Super Gas entry at one of NHRA’s most-hallowed tracks.
