Cafe, Used Book Store Opens in Philipsburg

PHILIPSBURG- Front Street in Philipsburg is welcoming another new business! Kristine Lang-McDonald of Philipsburg opened 1 North Front Street Café Books Events at 1 North FrontStreet, on Feb. 19.
1 North Front Street is currently open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Plans are to expand those hours as the business grows. Beginning March 20 they will be open on Saturdays. The cafe offers organic, fair trade coffees, teas, espressos, and cappuccinos, all gluten free baked goods and an assortment of other gluten free and organic products. The specialty is the egg and cheese sandwich on a gluten free English muffin utilizing organic cage-free eggs. The bookstore offers thousands of used books, free wireless internet access, and a cozy atmosphere. The business also offers meeting space available to rent.
