Cleveland, OH, United States (AHN) – Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey was stretchered off the court, after collapsing on the bench during a 99-92 lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena Friday.

Stuckey, 23, was rushed to Cleveland Clinic after he fainted into the arms of Pistons conditioning coach Arnie Kander.

The cause of the collapse was not known, though reports indicate it was not a seizure.

He is reportedly undergoing testing Saturday at the facility.

Stuckey, the three-year guard out of Eastern Washington, started the game and played 25 minutes without any signs of dizziness.

He recorded 8 points and 10 assists before collapsing late in the third quarter.

Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva said Stuckey told the conditioning coach he felt “a little dizzy,” but suddenly faded into the trainers’ arm after drinking some water.

Medical staff applied first aid treatment on Stuckey, before deciding to wheel him off the court after 12 minutes.

Reports indicated Stuckey’s vital signs were normal, but he was taken to the hospital for observation.

Stuckey suffered a similar spell of dizziness two years ago.

In November of 2008, the guard went to the locker room during a game and did not return to play in a contest vs. the Boston Celtics.

Stuckey went on two miss the next two games.

After Friday’s game, players from both teams huddled at center court and prayed for Stuckey’s fast recovery.
