Penn State PD Investigating Rape

UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State University Police are investigating a rape that occurred in the parking lot on the north side of Lubert Building at approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 1. The suspect was last seen driving away from the parking lot in a dark colored SUV, similar to a Ford Expedition, with a Pennsylvania registration. The victim was able to escape and locate help. The victim is not a Penn State student or employee.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged white male approximately six feet tall wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, tan boots and a black full-face ski mask.

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact University Police immediately. Information may be provided to the police anonymously by going to or by reporting information to Centre County Crime Stoppers at online. Crime Stoppers may be able to provide a monetary reward to the person who provides information leading to an arrest.
