No "DWTS" For Paula Abdul, Yes For Kate Gosselin

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) – Paula Abdul is out, but Kate Gosselin is in. Rumors abound that the former “American Idol” judge has turned down offer to appear on the ABC hit reality show “Dancing with the Stars,” while the reality show mom has allegedly signed on to compete.

According to TMZ sources, Abdul decided against doing the show, despite a $1 million offer from the network. The alphabet station reportedly offered the former L.A. Lakers cheerleader a million-dollar development deal if she appears on the show.

If she joins the show, ABC will allow her to do “The X Factor” with Simon Cowell.

But even though she turned down “DWTS,” TMZ is reporting that she will still be joining Cowell for the new talent show.

As for Gosselin, the mom of eight’s deal to appear on the show was “virtually done,” The Washington Post reports.

The celebrity contestants will be announced Monday night, while the show premieres on March 22.
