Dad Beats, Binds, Gags Two Small Children

Riverside, CA, United States (AHN) – A baby and a toddler were found beaten, bound and gagged inside a Riverside home on Friday leading police to arrest their father later. The girls were taken to a hospital but had no life-threatening injuries.

Police jailed Jeremiah Scott, 23, at the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of attempted murder, torture and child abuse. His bail was set at $1 million.

An unidentified adult saw the beaten and bound 18-month-old and 4-month-old girls on the bedroom floor and called the police.

Scott was not home when the police arrived at 1 p.m. But they found and arrested him in the neighborhood 20 minutes later.
