Burberry Streams Catwalk Show In 3D

London, United Kingdom (CNS) – British luxury fashion brand Burberry has made fashion show history by streaming their catwalk event in 3D to special venues in New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, Paris and Tokyo.
With a live show at the London Fashion Week on Tuesday, Burberry also streamed the show at five simultaneous invitation-only events all over the world in 3D. The show was also streamed online in 2D, where customers could make instant purchases of the items modeled.
The label’s Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey was quoted by Daily Mail as saying, “We are very excited we are hosting the first ever truly global fashion show.”
“This unprecedented event will enable people to experience the energy and atmosphere of his show fro around the world.”
“3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them to see the colors and fabrics, to hear the music and to be a part of that moment when it all finally comes together.”
Among the live show attendees were Kate Hudson, Kristen Stewart, Claire Danes, and Mary-Kate Olsen, who were all seated side by side in the front row.
