CCRTA Holds Reorganizational Meeting

CLEARFIELD – At Wednesday’s meeting, the board members of the Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority approved a slate of nominees for their five board positions for the upcoming year.

The board approved Nancy Micks, chairperson; Hildred Rowles, vice chairperson; Missy Rummel, secretary; Jane Elling, treasurer; and Joe Kendrick, assistant secretary and treasurer.

Sandy Fink-Barrett, executive director of the CCRTA, asked the board if they wished to maintain the same meeting schedule. They approved to continue meetings at 12 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month.

Barrett said the board would continue to rotate locations about every three to four months. No alternative meeting sites were decided upon at the meeting.

The board also approved to reappoint Mike Yeager as the solicitor for the CCRTA.

Micks said they planned to hold out on appointing an auditor. She said they must review the audit before doing so.
