DUBOIS – A year-and-a-half after accepting the position, City of DuBois Police Chief Steve Davis will be officially retire.
“I just want to thank Steve for stepping up while we were without a chief,” said DuBois Mayor John “Herm” Suplizio.
Davis will be replaced by Senior Sargent Michael Dilullo.
Davis had originally stepped into the position when the previous chief had stepped down with a request to return to patrol. At the time Davis was within a month of retiring.
