MORRISDALE – The West Branch Warriors went deep beyond the arc often as they defeated the Curwensville Golden Tide, 60-48. The Warriors went 6 of 9 on three-point shots compared to the Golden Tide who only went 5 of 17.
For the Tide, senior David Kalgren led in scoring with 17 points and also led in team assists with six. David Dixon led the team in rebounds with four while accounting for another 10 points.
West Branch had three players in double-digit scoring as Tyler Ferguson accounted for 20 points while also accounting for three rebounds and four assists. Ryan Wesesky also managed double digit scoring as he scored 18 points, 15 of which came beyond the three-point line. Chris Beveridge also added in 10 points of his own while getting three rebounds and four assists in the victory.
Curwensville will be on the court again Tuesday night as they host the Johnsonburg Rams.
