DuBois Woman, Passenger Airlifted After Car Accident

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP – Punxsutawney-based state police reported an accident along U.S. Route 322 that resulted in those involved being taken for treatment.

According to police a 23-year-old DuBois woman was traveling north on state Route 830 toward Fuller Road. A vehicle driven by Barbara Kroh of Brookville was traveling west on U.S. Route 322. The DuBois woman failed to stop at a stop sign and crossed into the path of Kroh.

The DuBois woman and a juvenile passenger were flown to Presbyterian Hospital. Kroh was transported to Brookville Hospital.

Police stated that witnesses said the DuBois woman made no attempt to stop at the stop sign and that she was traveling at a high rate of speed.
