CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough residents can look forward to no tax increases next year.
That’s according to the borough’s proposed 2008 budget. Council members were pleased with the budget, as was one of their employees.
“We’ve made great strides,” said Pam Peters, Clearfield Borough secretary.
Jim Leitzinger, council president, noted that the council is looking forward and moving forward. He said that borough council has been taking advantage of experts and acting on their advice to further the borough.
“It’s taken awhile,” said Leitzinger. “We have to be proactive on everything we do from now on.”
