Clearfield County Awarded $25,662 Recycling Grant

 

HARRISBURG, Oct. 16 – State Rep. Camille “Bud” George, D-74 of Clearfield County, today said Clearfield County has been awarded a $25,662 grant based on recycling efforts and the county’s population.

“The state Department of Environmental Protection said the county recycled more than 5.4 million pounds of trash in 2005,” Rep. George said. “The grant is designed to spur additional recycling efforts and supplements money the county receives to establish and maintain recycling programs.”
