Punxsutawney — The 13-14 year old Buster\’s fall ball baseball team went 2-0 in weekend action in a triangular at Punxsutawney\’s Kuntz Field.
The first game saw the visitors knock off their hosts by a score of 8-5. Derrick Snyder picked up the victory, while Buster\’s was led offensively by Christian Stone, Jarrett Fulmer, Kyler Kephart, Robbie Myers, and Ronny Ogden – each of whom doubled.
The second game, against Altoona, wasn\’t as easy. Down 12-3 heading to the 6th and final frame, Buster\’s plated 10 runs without recording an out to claim a 13-12 victory.
The big blow in the 10-run inning was Kyler Kephart\’s 3-run homer. Jarrett Fulmer was the winning pitcher. Fulmer also had two doubles, while Levi Picard had 3 hits. Robbie Myers and Johnny Gaylor also had doubles.
The Buster\’s team will be in action again on Sunday – again against Punxsy and Altoona.
