AMESVILLE – When the first school bell rings for the new year at the Moshannon Valley School District, two new teachers will greet students.
Amanda Warfield and Mitchell Nagle were each hired at a recent school board meeting to serve as secondary math teachers. Each begins at a salary of $30,538. Should either Warfield or Nagle decline the position, the board approved offering positions to the other candidates who were interviewed.
Kim Campbell was also hired at the same meeting as a main office secretary to start at $16,000 per year.
The board approved advertising for a family and consumer science teacher and re-advertising for a chemistry teacher. The part-time position of athletic director will also be advertised.
