CLEARFIELD – Marchers and vehicles strole through the streets of Clearfield Thursday to start the annual Clearfield Riverfront Festival.
Participants gathered on West Second Street as people began to line the streets in anticipation of the parade. At 6:30 p.m. the first marchers rounded the corner onto Market Street toward the bridge. This year the parade’s route followed a twisted path that eventually ended on Pine Street near the location of the festival.
Those participating in the parade this year were varied. There were Starlettes, antique cars, the usual display of fire engines from local stations to even a man on an old-fashioned bicycle.
