CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority will hold an open house Friday from 4-6 p.m. in the new office.
The staff of the CCRTA invites everyone to stop and visit them at 12 N. Front St., Clearfield.
Their new home is in the historic district, less than one-half block from Lower Witmer Park. The CCRTA has a special area set up where visitors may come in and obtain literature and information. A phone is available for them to call ahead to obtain hours or make reservations.
One goal the agency had in moving was to set up the offices to provide a sampling of what visitors could experience while visiting the area.
The Woolridge family has permitted the CCRTA to use several antiques and display items, and local artisans have works on display at the office. Several more will have their works available for viewing during the open house.
The new office is just one block from the Riverfront Festival, located in Witmer Park.
