WESTOVER BOROUGH – A Northern Cambria man wanted for a number of sex crimes was arrested on Monday by Punxsutawney-based state police.
According to the report John Hugill Jr., 21, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Hawkins on 21 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, 22 counts of rape, 46 counts of aggravated indecent assault, 48 counts of indecent assault, three counts of sexual abuse of children and related charges.
The charges came from an investigation that involved statements from five alleged victims. The incidents are reported to have occurred between April 12, 2002 and July 31, 2006.
Hugill is in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. Keep reading GantDaily for more news on this case as it becomes available.
