Lane Restrictions Lifted on I-80 in Centre County

CLEARFIELD – Motorists traveling Interstate 80 through Centre County now have smooth sailing between mile marker 161 (Bellefonte exit) and mile marker 152.

Both eastbound and westbound lane restrictions were removed Thursday as crews worked through rainy weather to open up all four lanes through the two-year reconstruction and replacement project.

The contractor on the $43.4 million dollar project was Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. of State College.

Completion of the job marks official replacement of original I-80 roadway in Centre County.
