CLEARFIELD – An unknown amount of schedule II drugs were removed from the Rite Aid Pharmacy along the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning, according to Lawrence Township Police.
A pharmacist was coming into work Friday morning when they noticed a sound coming from the alarm panel. The pharmacist then contacted police.
Lawrence Township Police, along with the state police Records and Identification Unit searched the premise. No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues.
This marks the third such incident of a drug store in a five-month time span. In May, C.V.S. and the Medicine Shoppe were hit.
Schedule II substances include morphine and codene, as well as other substances.
