CLEARFIELD – Route 3004 near the village of Stifflertown in Burnside Township will be closed for one week beginning Monday.
Clearfield County Maintenance forces from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will perform stream line bedding work along-side the roadway, making the closure necessary. A detour around the road closure/work zone will be in effect all week long.
Motorists traveling on Route 3004 will be detoured to U.S. Route 219 before coming back onto Route 3004. PennDOT expects the work to complete by the end of the day Aug. 18.
All work is weather-dependent.
PennDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this closure and reminds drivers to follow all detour signs, drive with caution, and to always buckle up.
